Time to start moving

When I was diagnosed type 2 back in July of 2007, I was 181 lbs. I’m on Metformin 500 mg a day and Altace, even though my blood pressure is perfect, my dr. said it is to help protect the kidneys.

I was 173 lbs. this morning but my problem is I also had a fractured ankle, so exercise was very difficult for me to do, plus I’m not a big fan of it. The ankle is healing nicely according to the ortho yesterday and I can start walking on it now.

I got two Lesle Sansone walking dvd’s before my fracture, one is for seniors and one for older adults. I think the next time I watch it I will get up from the couch and actually do the exercises.

I will let you know how it works out.

Hi Mia:) I’ll look forward to hearing how you are doing. Glad your ankle is healing too.
I’ve never had much to do with exercise videos til I discovered T-Tapp. I love it:)
I’m alot like you. Not a lover of exercise; but just standing still and stretching is great:)
We’ll be getting in shape and moving the way our minds and bodies will enjoy. I think that is the most important thing. If we dont enjoy the movement we’ll stop/ get frustrated or tired of it.
Have a great day and go for it!
