yesterday my 2 year old daughter was playing in her room. I like to listen outside the door so she doesn’t see me. She says the cutest things when she thinks no one is listening. I hear her say “ok time for finger poke. I have to wipe u with alcohol first. Do you want to put the strip in? ok Good you need juice.” I peaked in and she was holding her comforter with Tinker Bell on it. I didn’t say a word. She looked up at me and said Tinker Bell has diabetes.
How sweet they are! My granddaughter is 7yrs old and has watched me inject and test for many years and she says to me “gma, when you are really old, I will test you and give you your shots, that is why I always watch you”!!! Out of the mouth of babes!! Your daughter sounds precious. I wish no child had to have this D…she will be cured…I know it is coming!!!
