Every person with diabetes should reach for better blood sugar numbers.
You should have figured out how to control your diabetes by now
“You should get your A1c down” – says my endo, who never tells me how one does that. (Though I’m grateful to his team of CDE nurses for their depths of knowledge.)
YOU SHOULD BE COMPLIANT
Can I shout that any louder
Excuse me! But to what should you be compliant?
I;m tired of being told I should eat to harm myself, lots of carbs to give me energy and high blood sugars.
You should be glad it’s not cancer.
And, closely related:
You should be glad you don’t have the bad kind.
You should have access to CGMs and Pumps regardless of D-type at little or no cost such as a pharmacy deductible and not be pigeon-holed into ineffective treatments because you are diagnosed as Type “x, y, or z”.
