I was this morning! I ended up with 10 units of air in my tummy. As I pushed the needle down I realized it went too fast and saw the vial sitting there in the little container I keep it in. I never took it out! sigh… I did give myself a shot after that!
Question: what will happen? Will it show up as a bruise in a few hours? will I "have a bit of gas pass?"

Nothing bad will happen. 10-units of air into your subcutaneous region will just diffuse in the surrounding tissue and escape. You will not notice anything out of the oridnary.
