I have been trying to find a colored case but no one knows anything about them. I wish Lifescan carried them and would let you buy them.
If you can’t get one from your doctor, endo, or CDE, try writing to Lifescan’s Customer Service. Explain that you know the colored cases currently exist as doctor’s samples and would be interested in purchasing one if it were an available accessory.
Current production is apparently limited, even as samples… but if there’s enough demand, perhaps they can be convinced that the colored cases would be cost-effective to produce.

To whom it may concern:
I have seen pictures on the web of these ultra mini cases in different colors… Were they just from an expo?
I was diagnosed in July of 2008. It was recommended to me to look into a second meter. For travel and as a backup.I currently have the Ultra 2.I filled out something on the onetouch website for a blue comet ultra mini mainly because it also has the data port and 500 reading memory. Also, the idea of a smaller meter would be an ideal for me as a second meter when I travel.I also liked the blue comet from all the colors.

You might want to check out Diabetes Designs. They have a large variety of colorful diabetes meter cases and accessories.
Call Life Scan and see if you are eligible for a promotional item. Once the promotional item is received you may call back and ask if you are eligible for another promotional item. You do not have a choice as to which promotional item you are eligible for. Life Scan told me that it would be at least 3-4 months before I would get my new case. I am hoping that with the cases being so popular that they will not make this a limited time offer. I was also told as soon as I get my case I can call them back and get another case. (I have 4 minis)
I have found for me I get better result calling Life Scan than when I write them.
I only have the ultra2 and one ultra mini. I end up using the ulta 2 at home and work and the mini on the weekends and nights we go out to eat!!!
Now why cant they make cool cases like this for the UltraSmart?? 
Would love a pattern of this… I have seen lots of places where they custom make carry cases. all different colors and types for different types of meters. even a purse type for everything. Even some have a cooling compartment to keep insulin cool. just do a search on google for meter cases or diabetic carrying cases… or what ever you can use to find what you want.
