I have recently been through a series of doctors and dentists, only after two months of scoundering to wind up in the hospital a week ago past friday... The diagnosis was that I have a severe infection in my Jaw , and also a secondary infection, the result was that I went for surgery of my Jaw so that the infection could be reached..( they carved some canal in my jaw line to drain the infection) . as they say it was a result of an infected wisdom toooth being removed... so after surgery they have me on flagell and vencomyacin, I was seen by an infectious disease doctor who felt that even though the venco is problematic with diabetes, it treats the infection Im faced with most effectively... so Im now released from the hospital on 24 hour Iv, 2 antibiotics, and working through it.... wondering if any one else has had experoences with vencomyacin....
