I stepped outside this morning to frost on the grass. This is a really good thing as this summer we had an outbreak of EEE or Eastern Equine Encephalitis. As a result of this, virtually all outdoor activities presented a threat of getting bitten by an EEE carrying mosquito. The towns all sprayed like crazy but they also stopped all after school sports or night time football games until the first hard frost. I'm really hoping what we had last night was a hard frost. I want to return to my nightly strolls with Cosmo.
