What do you eat?

b : blueberry muffin w/ butter or eggs withcheese

s : frozen blueberrys w/splenda

L :hotdogs or eggs from b

s nuts

d protien with a carb

Breakfast: an apple or banana, an english muffin, a single plain yogurt, and a drink (usually water or some kind of juice)

Lunch: fresh salad with chicken cut up on top with a vinegrette dressing, and a single sandwich using ham and muenster cheese, using fresh whole wheat artisan bread

Snack: 2 string cheese sticks or a half cup of cottage cheese

Dinner: Its a mixed bag. It ranges from healthy to “OMG I cant believe I just ate that” Im still working on a consistent dinner.

B: 2 to 3 Morningstar sausage patties, 1/4 cup of steel cut oats w soy milk, 6 oz of apple juice. Cup of coffee with sugar free Carnation creamer.

S: 21 - 63g Market Pantry fruit snacks, amount depends on workout.

L: Peanut butter and jelly or turkey and cheese sandwich and a banana.

D: Varies a lot. At home I prepare 120-150g of chicken, fish, or turkey. Mixed vegetables, pasta something or other like thing. 6 oz apple juice.

If I eat out, it could be anything. Thursday a had an In-n-Out cheeseburger animal style with fries.

Bedtime snack; Varies, usually an itty bitty bowl of cereal.

God I wish we had an In N Out here in my neck of the woods. Closest one is 120 miles away. You’d figure in a city of over 2 million people we’d have one…no such luck. We have a place called “Armadillo Burger” You gave half your bolus just for the fat and protien!!! I kid you not and I will attach a pic. And yes that’s a full size dinner plate its sitting on!!

I love where I live, once I get home past the L.A. traffic that is. My gym is 200m around the corner and the In N Out is a three block walk away. Between the two there is Peruvian, Argentinian, Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, 3 coffee shops, a wine bar, and 3 sports bars. I’m not even including all the big box places like California Pizza Kitchen I never set foot in.

We ordered 3 not knowing how big they were…1 will sufficiently feed a family of 4 before the fries!!! Remember the old addage “Everything is bigger in TX…” I rest my case.

Now for a good workout, you should jog to the In N Out, eat, then to the wine bar, drink, then stumble over to the gym, workout, and go home and pass out!

And that’s why I’m not a doctor people!!!

This is what I eat on most work days. The weekend can vary greatly.

B- 2 hard boiled eggs
S-decaf americano with cream
sometimes some nuts
L- grilled salmon filet cooked with herb mix and olive oil
mixed nuts
S- diet dr. pepper and mixed nuts
D- some sort of protein like chicken, buffalo, turkey burger and veggies like steamed broccoli or green beans, cucumber
S- pistashios
