That shortage is compliments of Chretian and Martin’s governments who slashed the bejeezus out of funding that ended up jeopardizing our medicare system and created a shortage in training doctors, nurses and medical techs in our universities. Mr. Harper isn’t doing much to correct the situation. We need to elect people who have the right priorities.

To add…one on MDI or pump may qualify in Canada for the Disability Tax Credit ; one’s Doctor has to sign the tax forms and the PWD has to prove, that it takes 14 hours weekly to manage one’s diabetes, not including purchasing food, exercising etc.
