What's the worst that can happen when you go onto pump?

Hi Anne,

Worst thing that ever happened to me was relearning how to not fear going to sleep, for fear of a bad/deadly overnight hypo. Those were a daily/nightly reality for me pre-pump, and have virtually disappeared since I started pumping. Everything else on the pump is great.

Cheers, Mike

I just got off the pump and my control and bloodsugars are better than ever. Unlike the person you’re talking about, i did take care of myself. Was getting no delivery alarms endlessly,Bleeding sites, Inconsistent insulin absorbtion. When it did work i was so anxious just waiting for it to beep and tell me it wasnt working. Or the pump crapping out. I’m using less insulin now and feel so much more freedom now that Im not attached to that beeping clunky thing. I love knowing im getting the insulin im injecting.
