10,000!!! Just a few months after I was diagnosed (June 2006), I was feeling lonely and sorry for myself. I googled around and found a blog posting by Amy Tenderich that mentioned a new online community for people with diabetes. When I joined the membership was a little over 20.
So yeah, 10,000 is a BIG DEAL!! I am no longer lonely.
