Do the X-rays from the X-ray machine that carry on luggage goes through in the airport damage insulin?
No X-Rays don't damage insulin. It is pumps and cgms devices that you need to be concerned about.
So are you saying you shouldn’t walk through the X-ray machine while wearing the omnipod?
Look in your Omnipod manual. I know the Animas and Medtronics pumps cannot go through any of the scanners except the metal detector. The screeners will usually say "Oh, it's ok, it won't hurt". I insist on either a metal detector or a pat down. I haven't seen any warnings about CGM transmitters... have you Brian?
