Been a T1D for 55 years and glad to find a place to learn the “highs and lows” of diabetes. No dr can know nearly as much about your disease than you. I have found docs that tell me that for years. Almost like they do not know the way to dr it and they hand it back to you. I , like most of you could write a book on experiences but for me the older I get the more of a challenge it becomes. My A1c is only ~7.0 due in part to gastroparesis and as a result my retiniopathy has taken a lot of my vision. I can tell everyone that my mother used to tell me that I have worn out at least a dozen of Gods angels. This disease is all about attitude. Anyway, enough about me. I hope to learn and add where I can on this forum.
