I have been T1D (LADA) since 2007. I was misdiagnosed first as a T2 and finally accurately diagnosed in 2008. I am an active advocate for those living with chronic disease, particularly diabetes and issues and concerns of the elderly. I am the previous Board chair of the Diabetes Hands Foundations and Perle Bioscience.
