Type 2 diagnosed in 1994 with an A1c of 9.0 Probably diabetic for 10 years prior to that. Have done Metformin, glipizide, glimeperide. Currently, on Tresiba. Doing okay, I think. A1c running around 6.0 to 6.5. I used to run 5.5, but I’m on 4 diets now, so not feeling like I want to try harder right now.

After 27 years, my retinas still work. My legs don’t have sores on them. I can still feel my toes. I like to think I’m doing okay. Hope I’m right.
