Hello! I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes in 2011 and was insulin dependant. After giving birth to my son, the diabetes I had been struggling with, went away. In 2013, diabetes re-emerged as Type 2. I am currently taking glipizide and using a strict diet, as well as exercise to control my numbers.

I am also a single mother to two boys, aged 17yo and 5yo. I work as a baker at a local coffee shop and commute solely by bicycle. I identify myself as a Disnerd and cat lover.
