I was born on September 6th 1989 on the Faroe Islands, and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on May 17th 2004.
I moved to Denmark in January 2009, and have been very happy living here.

I started with NPH insulin (Insulatard) and NovoMix 30, and soon moved to NovoRapid/Novolog and Lantus. After a couple of years I switched Lantus for Levemir.

In 2008 I started on an insulin pump with NovoRapid/Novolog and have been on a pump ever since. I switched the NovoRapid/Novolog out with Fiasp in 2018.

I started on a CGM in 2016, which has been a life-changer.
