I have had Type 1 for 30 years and am currently using a pump and CGM and also Symlin injections.  I have been lucky in that I have few problems other than some retinopathy (no need to treat yet) and some mild neuropathy in feet( no treatment yet).  I live on a ranch in Montana which my wife and me run when we are not working in town to be able to afford to ranch.  I need to do a better job of controlling my diabetes (A1c have been in the range of 7 to low 8 in the last few years) and enjoy reading about what others are doing both successfully and not so successfully.
