I've been a type 1 diabetic since I was 9 years old (almost 15 years), and I'm still learning new things about the disease all the time. I was active in the diabetes online community for a while in high school, but I haven't been for several years. I'm looking to find some people sharing similar experiences to get to know!
A few basics about me: I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology and journalism, I currently work at a homeless shelter in an addictions recovery program, and I serve an amazing God and am very involved in my local church. I love laughing, camping, hiking, exploring, people watching, learning new things, cooking, and reading. If you're into personality types, I'm an ENFJ but am commonly mistaken for an introvert due to my quietness. I'd love to get to know you!
