Diagnosed Steroid Induced Diabetes in Nov 2017, was DKA in hospital and have been insulin dependent since day of diagnosis, however often just labeled by many as Type 2 even if that’s technically incorrect. I use Dexcom 6 CGM. The diabetes gets juggled with multiple sclerosis, severe eosinophilic asthma, hypothyroidism, a very messed up neck and low back with severe central stenosis and more, and chronic fatigue syndrome. So sometimes the road gets a lil’ wacky. Fortunately I travel this road with my supportive husband (married 1983) and our ever delightful puddy tats, and my friends and family who all live far far away but are close in heart and online. When I can, I love to spend a little time being creative and crafty with my hands.
