I’m a very/fit active (runner) person that has been trying to figure out my health. I have an A1C of 10.5 since 2014 (or earlier). I’ve had multiple blood tests, glucose tolerance tests, thyroid, and other tests to diagnose diabetes but all tests have come back as normal. Two endocrinologists have not been able to offer a diagnosis. I have persistent symptoms of lightheadedness in the mornings, dry mouth, hunger type ache and tingling in fingers and toes especially after eating. I’m trying to sort this out and lower my A1C. I have little to no sugar and eat a very low carb diet but A1C still does not come down and symptoms persist.
I teach at a small college and enjoy time in the woods with my dog Luna.
