20 yrs Type 2. Undiagnosed/Untreated, heavy smoker/drinker for first ten years - then heart surgery,stroke, and first diabetes diagnosis/ treatment. Since then, lost 75 lbs, a1c within 5.7 - 6.0 range for 6 years now. But, oh, the damage done.
