Hey, guys. I'm 28 years old. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in December of 1994. I took clear and cloudy insulin for a few years then did MDI, all with syringes. In December 2001, I started insulin pump therapy with Minimed and have been with them ever since. I tried OmniPod for a few months but did not like it. I try to keep my weight down as best as possible by doing a lot of cardio like jogging, machines, basketball, and swimming. I work at my Dad's hardware store six days a week and have an Associate's degree. My future goals include finishing my English degree and becoming a journalist. I eat primarily low-carb, 100 grams or less a day.
