T2 diabetic for 20 years
Until recently, ate not so great, took Trulicity and metformin. BS’s are climbing to 7.9 A1C and recently decided to clean up diet and go vegan with low glycemic emphasis, went off meds except metformin and doing much better, but now BS’s climbing again, as Trulicity is gone from my body. I could not stand Trulicity–GI side effects after every injection and raised my pulse by 20 bpm! Getting scared of renal failure, with creatinine now 1.36, used to be 1.1 in 2017.
