I’m an adult type 1 who was diagnosed 24-years as type 2 based solely on body type (obese) and A1c. After one week of metformin-induced vomiting (so I was told), I went into a DKA coma and was properly diagnosed as type 1.

I use Dexcom G7 sensors, a Tandem t:slim x2 control-iq pump and novolog.

I’m on original Medicare with a Medigap supplement. While I’m not an expert I have a lot of experience navigating the waters if anyone would like a hand.
