73 year old Type 1 insulin dependent Diabetic since March 1980 (41 years). Started with injections then 2005 went on insulin pump. In 2019, I switched to a Tandem T-Slim with basel IQ pump. This switch has proved to be beneficial with the Basil IQ technology that is built into the Tandem T-Slim pump. Have also been using a dexcom CGM in conjunction with my pumps since 2008.
Very active with slow pitch softball so i have a need to monitor glucose levels and not ignore lows where my T-Slim basil IQ
pump now assists me with.
