Dear Janet. Tried saline not effective enough. Nose spray has an amine that shrinks the capillaries in the nose thereby reducing the swelling. Humidifier in room probably a good idea, however in Calgary when it is cold you cannot achieve more than 35% humidity without a massive amount of condensation on the windows, this puny relative humidity is nothing compared to Vancouver… My wife pronounced her Lowen windows more important than my nose.
ah well, nothing works for everyone – and environmental conditions are sure a part of the mix - eh?
