What you’re asking for isn’t very common. To my knowledge, only Tandem and the DIY Looping programs are using the full rollercoaster model of the insulin activity curve, it’s essentially a logarithmic model instead of the traditional curvilinear, and it takes a lot of processing power to recompile the data every 5/6 minutes as these living systems adjust IOB…
It’s a little bit of work to get up and running, but using one of the DIY options it’s probably your best choice. I’m not too familiar with the Apple variants, but if you’re team Android, I know AndroidAPS let’s you run the app with a “virtual pump”, basically giving you all the tools and information without the actual insulin control. I’m pretty sure you can even import your real time pump info via CareLink. I imagine there are similar options with OpenAPS or Loop for Apple phones, but someone else would have to verify that.
Your response gives me a starting point to either build my own app or extract the IOB calculation. I’m not a computer/programmer type so the task is a little intimidating.
