One of the many annoyances with high blood sugars is blurry vision. My sugars were high for a day, its been a couple of days and my vision is still not back to 100%. It is noticeable when I am trying to read things off the TV. How long do you have to deal with blurry vision after high sugars? Is there any medication, eyedrop or whatever that helps make things better?
When were you diagnosed? I thought my troubles were blood sugar related, too. I recently (note: Thursday) went to an eye dr to get them checked to be sure, and it turned out that my prescription had actually changed. Worth getting checked if you can. 
How high was your BG? I noticed your A1c & you must have high BG frequently. There’s no medication or drops that help when vision changes are due to high BG. What happens is that the shape of your lens actually changes. It will go back to the way it was when BG is in better range.
