So is anyone using the older Walmart insulins with MDI, and how consistent is your basal?

I'm assuming 3-4 shots are probably needed, but in practice what are the curves like and how consistent can you get the basal with tweaking? I'm not there, but kind of want to be prepared for the worst?

it’s not an ideal situation. I wish the best to you, I understand well having to make difficult compromises with medical decisions.
