It is possible that those using Medtronic sensors will still have to go through the appeal process. I don’t think that anyone has heard a timetable from Medtronic about its plans for having its sensors rated as suitable for dosing insulin and therefore “therapeutic.” My personal guess is that maybe they may wait for the new sensor system that will be part of the 670G. I am not sure that the Enlites have a low enough MARD to be approved for dosing insulin. But that is my two cents, not official information.
