Dr. Stephen Ponder is a type 1 diabetic, and has had diabetes for 44 years. He is an endo and a pediatrician. His articles are very, very good. I see his articles on Facebook and have befriended him there. Here is one of his more recent articles:

Dr. Ponder gave the keynote address at a type 1 conference I attended recently, and I was very impressed with him. He’s also the physician at our local diabetes camp for children. Is there a website where he regularly posts articles? I’d like to keep up with what he has to say.
Thanks.

Very nice! I especially like the Voltaire quote: Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good!

I think though that if you aim at perfect, your miss may be closer than if you aim at good? I try to think of tests as “beyond good and evil” but my goals are another matter.

I heard him speak at a conference in Austin Texas for the JDRF type 1 conference. Gave an excellent presentation.
