In addition to very bad gastric symptoms at the .6mg dose, my heart rate is up 20-30 points over my usual rate before I started Victoza. Given that I take metoprolol for angina, this beta blocker keeps my heart rate low, lessening the workload for my heart. I also take two other blood pressures meds but my bp has increased since I started Victoza.
Has anyone else here had these symptoms?
I don’t think I had blood pressure issues but had a lot of stomach issues. Even now I can only do a shot of .6 every other day. If I do it every day I end up throwing up my food that I’d eaten for the last several days.
