Faustman Lab is seeking patients who:
- are over 18 years old
- have had type 1 diabetes for less than 20 years
If you are interested and fit these criteria please call 617-726-4084 or e-mail diabetestrial@partners.org for more information about current trial recruitment. For new patients and those that have not donated blood samples to the Faustman lab in over a year, they will schedule you for a 30 minute screening visit to donate a blood sample at our facility in Boston. Data collected may be used for eligibility screening for proposed Phase II studies testing the BCG vaccine as a treatment for type 1 diabetes.
Patients from all over the world are welcome to participate in our research, though future studies may
require frequent visits to the Faustman Lab, in Boston.
