The MOLLY Diabetes Education/Management Center for Adults and Children at Hackensack University Medical Center will host its tenth annual Diabetes First Seminar “One of You Has It and Everyone Lives With It” on Wednesday, November 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. The program will be held in the Hekemian Conference Center, at the medical center, located at 30 Prospect Avenue in Hackensack. The community seminar is directed to individuals with diabetes and their families and will provide the latest available information from healthcare professionals and vendors to assist in coping with diabetes management. Discussions by a panel from the MOLLY Diabetes Education Center for Adults and Pediatrics staff at the medical center will include an opportunity for questions and answers.

Joseph Solowiejczyk, RN, MSW, CDE, clinical manager of Counseling and Presentations of Animas Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is appearing as the keynote speaker. He has been a diabetes educator for more than 25 years. His approach is to help couples and families cope more effectively in living with diabetes on a daily basis.
