Please forgive my poetic diatribe
. Our cyborg life that I describe:
We cyborgs need our machines to work
. We cannot survive a ridiculous quirk
A dead pump site or pod that croaks
. It is NOT a funny joke
.
Hoping that you feel ok
. Your ketones have come down to stay
Your blood sugar regulated right
. To stay in range both day and night
.
I realize you don’t know if you should laugh
. Or cry at this poetic draft
But living as us cyborgs do
. We must be positive through and through
.
We want to live a normal life
. Without additional mechanical strife
But when it happens we work it out
. And try not to scream and shout
