Open Enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplaces starts November 15, 2014, and lasts until February 15, 2015. During this time, individuals and families can shop for health insurance coverage and purchase or change Marketplace plans. Individuals cannot be denied coverage or charged more because of a pre-existing condition, such as diabetes. Eligible people can get financial assistance to help pay for a plan purchased in the Marketplace.
