You should dump that doctor and find someone who more suits your needs and personality. I had an endocrinologist throughout my teenage years that I couldn’t stand. He was always telling me to manage my diabetes in a way I didn’t like or agree with. I dumped him and found a different doc who was a better fit for me. You have to trust the people who are taking care of you and your loved ones. Questioning what he’s telling you and being upset at him is a good sign it’s time to move on.
