Wow, I love your ideas. Telling your PCP that your insurance plan has no endo in the system right now & you need prescriptions now is a great idea! I also love anytime you can make it challenging for the insurance company. The insurance company made it impossible for the doctor to stay in the system, so find me something else. Love it!

Me either. I am Type 2 and only saw a dietitian once since my diagnosis this Feb. I don’t think I need to see one quite yet as my AC1 levels have vastly improved since February.
I know Medicare/Medicaid covers dietitian stuff, etc…but only so much in a year.
If you are on medicare you are mostly to fully covered for whatever you need to stay in control based on your level of coverage.
That sounds about right. I am expected to visit my PCP every 3-6 months, alongside that my kidney doctor every 3-6 months. (kidney issues weren’t due to diabetes since it happened in 2013)
