I don't get it

I feel your pain. Chasing down a high only to find a leaking reservoir tube (for example) isn’t fair.
Without near absolute reliability from our devices, it would be hard to justify their use.

So interesting…I found the absolute oposite and had the silhouettes pull out all the time.

I accidentally tried quicksets when my rep gave me a bunch, and I was immediately hooked.

How is it we have such differing experiences? Skin types?

Oh, manual insertion is easy! I only use the inserter when I'm so cross-eyed from exhaustion that I can't trust my hands to be steady. But we do use lidocaine/prilocaine cream to numb the site first (no ouch).

Skin types, amount of body fat, maybe different levels or kinds of activity... we have yet to try the silhouettes anywhere but Eric's backside because of his lack of body fat, so I expect we may have better luck once we can use the abdomen. However... considering I have what appears to be a crimped site waiting for me at the daycare right now, I'll just have to wait on that speculation!
