It seems to be a truism of the medical world that Jardiance can become dangerous if the patient becomes dehydrated. It is much more common to become dehydrated in heat waves. The danger is compounded because many doctors won’t recognize (or even think of euglycemic KA.
In this terrible heat wave, be careful. Carry water, and avoid dangerous heat.
And pay attention to your vulnerable neighbors, diabetic or not. During heat waves, many people die of neglect.
