Yeah that line is way too thin. Haha! It’s hard to tell if I need to be more supportive or need to back off, ya’no? I’m really glad to have her as a friend, she’s awesome. Thanks so much!
Hi Olivia,
I think you are pretty awesome too and you know I love DD too. Take good care of you too Things get hard for friends. Remember before the diabetes when you both could “freak” out over something? Well, you still need to do that. As a diabetic I can tell you that just being helped all the time wears thin. But still being needed too is a better deal. You are both still the same young women you were before with the same needs from each other. The big difference now is that you have both grown up more and are aware of more than just things you yourself need. So while you are busy giving to DD, Let her know also that you need her to give to you too. You will feel good because you are giving and you will let her feel good because she is giving too. So it will be back to the way it was before but you both will have a better understanding than before.and you will both be stronger than ever. This is the normal give and take between friends. I am just so proud of both of you, but wish you would both slow down a bit and not grow up so fast.
Love to you both
