I saw @DrBB say ContourNext test strips were OOP in another topic.

Auvon Test Strips

At first I thought you were saying you substituted the Auvon strips for the ContourNext ones in the ContourNext meter, which would be kinda cool if you could, but it’s a whole different BGM system. Just wanted to clarify that in case anyone else was confused. Does seem worth checking out. I still do a finger stick first thing in the a.m. just to check that my CGM is on the same page—it doesn’t always pick up on my DP—and I can no longer get ContourNext strips as a prescription item now I’m on M…

@DrBB If your CGM supplier also stocks ContourNext test strips they should be able to provide them with your CGM, the usual stack of properly filled out Medicare paperwork requirements apply. This changed in 2023. Note I haven’t seen anyone say they have successfully gotten then strips covered under Part B since the LCD changed and I’m not on medicare yet so take my optimism with a salt lick.
