I have been on the G5 sensor for about a year. When my transmitter expires Jan 2020 I will be getting the G6.
By changing the sensor every 2 weeks I have been able to accumulate around 15 extra G5 sensors. Not sure what to do with extras. Anyway to get an extra G5 transmitter and use the extra while trying to accumulate G6 sensors?

Agreed, replacing the battery is pretty easy on the G5 transmitters.
Use Xdrip to reset the transmitter’s start date, or just use Xdrip itself to read from the transmitter. And use up all the old sensors.
