I changed absolutely every single setting that my CDE and pod trainer had entered. My duration of insulin action was set at 4 hours when in reality I am lucky if it lasts 2.5 hours. My basal rates were ridiculously low and constant when in reality my basal rate needs change wildly from different times in the day. The only thing that remained reasonably close was I:C ratio but my correction factor changed quite a bit as well. Now almost 3 years into the journey it is rare for me to have a day when I have inexplicable highs or lows. I am continually tweaking things, but my basal program which I label with the last time I changed it is 010716 so I haven’t had to change anything in almost a month. It’s a process but take it step by step and it should get better.

i did, it with, my endo, for, my basic basal, and meal bolus dosages, it took, about, a week, for my, but by now, i changed it, my endo, is not, the best,.
@erice: You have a very interesting punctuation style.
guess, i do have one,.
I think I have it all worked out and have notice a large stabilization in my bg’s. However, it turns out that my dosages via syringe, were almost identical. So, now I think that there were issues with variable rates of absorption via syringe that have been corrected with the Omnipod. Things are looking great! Huge surprise to me.
