Quotes that describe your "diabetes situation"

Hello Alan:

Use this one often… LOL.

Stuart

I know Im bumping this, but i ran across a few good ones while listening to the new 3 doors down cd

“The life I love is the one I lead. It gets crazy, but that’s fine by me.”

“I look back and smile at those forgotten miles, and laugh at all that went wrong. What I am is what I want, and I’ll be this way 'till I’m dead and gone.”

Thank you for taking part… tremendous quotes!

I made up my own. It’s in my sig.

I really like this one, Alan.

“For he to-day that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition…” Shakespeare: Henry V

Well, you probably remember my original sig from 20 years ago, but for the newbies, here it is:

Can YOU find the ugly duckling?

Do you know why I stopped using it? Because I have the suspicion that Arturo didn’t get the joke, and thought I really WAS a doctor!

That reminds me of the Radiohead song “Fitter, Happier” although I’ve been more fond of the Radiodread version lately?

why was i just thinking the dd’s from renissance man

I think he may have been alluding to the English military’s reliance upon “villeins” with longbows who would annihilate the flower of French chivalry at Agincourt, as they had previously at Crecy and Poitiers? The French titles and fancy armor availed them little vs. a rain of arrows. Of course, a few decades later, the villeins would execute Charles I. Perhaps we can all hang together.

I know we’ve discussed politics and diabetes before and I think there are a lot of medieval attitudes in Washington that would benefit from arrows.

“I’m on a highway to hell”

lol… sorry i was referencing a movie with danny devito where he teaches the extra dumb bootcamp kids the double d’s in the army basic english lit… snuck them off base to see a play lo an behold that line is qouted in the movie as a comical reference during the play and then brought back up at the end when of course things where falling to ■■■■ and that brought them together…but shakespere in theater i like reading is sooo blazie i want someone to think creatively for me…

Thanks. I first started using it on alt.support.diabetes on usenet when I started applying it personally.

Of course, I also apply moderation in moderation

Thanks for playing… any ideas where your quote comes from originally?
