My own experience would support the notion that raw foods are incredibly beneficial to diabetics… especially type twos. In December of 2007, after five years of being diabetic on Metformin, I began a raw fruits and vegetables based diet and watched in amazement as my glucose numbers went below normal during the first week… in to the fifties and sixties. I quit taking Metformin December 13th. My glucose numbers have been normal ever since. In a sense, I’m cured… at least as long as I stick to my plan. Yes, I do exercise quite a bit… mostly to keep my weight down because on the raw foods diet, I eat all I want… and I want a lot. My blog: http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/Type_II_Diabetes.html
