Erythritol can kill dogs, so it is not allowed in my house. Maybe a food that kills dogs is OK for people? but no thanks.
You can buy powdered gelatin in supermarkets which makes up just like jello. The quantities of crystals and water will be on the packet. What I don’t know is how to get the flavour or colour. I guess if you can eat berries you can add cooked berries to the mix which would add both colour and flavour.
I believe the sugar alcohol that can kill dogs is Xylitol. It is commonly found in sugar free chewing gum and candy. It induces hypoglycemia and can cause liver damage.
Xylitol can be lethal to dogs, but I’ve not head that erythritol is harmful.
