I’m a fairly new Tslim user but have been with Medtronic since 1985.
I have two suggestions and a question.
The Clip n Go fits the Tslim very well and clips on your waistband. Very hard to dislodge. Also it protects your pump from scratches and cushions against drops. Finally, it insulated it a bit from your body heat allowing the insulin to be more stable I believe. No more rising blood sugars on the third day as was happening when I just kept it in my pocket. Clip n Go
Oh, for those of you that are using the Auto Soft XT, you can leave the back paper attached and just insert it manually. No cocking of the mechanism. I found that easier to avoid insertion problems.
Finally to my question. Any ideas for protecting the three ends while disconnected? When I get in the shower, the “trident” end is just flopping about the bathroom near our toilet (where the only plug is located). Or, if I disconnect at the reservoir end, the end of the T-Connect is open in the shower. I’m not a germ freak but it would be nice to be able to keep those ends sterile.
