Tell the FDA What's Important When it Comes to Living with Diabetes

Muragaki---I did try to put it into a few sentences in that comment box at the end. Something about mis-information about how many carbs we can safely eat everyday. And there was one page where I could list arthritis and fibromyalgia as "Other".....

I think we have already seen the FDA start to listen to patients. In April the heard directly from Kelly Close and Adam Brown of diaTribe as well as our own Manny Hernandez on Afrezza. And then there has been real progress on glucose monitoring and test strip issues with Strip Safely. I think we will be able to directly see how patients are included in the process based on how much patients get included in the process.

Please and I can not express enough other than a cure please gov't and all insurances please declare CGM's medically necessary and cover them not only for adults but for our children this helps with better control & A1c's & potentially side effects that come from having diabetes which can ultimately cost the insurance company's more money so cgm's can help us catch lows or highs much sooner and be-able to treat meals and what not more effectively and a cgm combine with night-scout is awesome now other than a cure let's also integrate the CGM with the TSlim and a Bg meter and bam! oh wait and integrate that night-scout too well I am dreaming of things other than a cure

Anna says:

You can purchase insulin with OUT a prescription but your insurance will not cover the cost. So will be at full price, but have done this recently when needed Lantus cause pump malfunctioning and did not want to wait for doc to authorize. I think the pump company should have to cover extra costs when their machine causes the problem to arise.
